Do we need to buy our own fan and mattress?

Each student gets their own cot, an almirah, a table and chair, all electrical facilities and a LAN port with high-speed internet in their hostel room. All rooms come equipped with overhead fans so you needn't buy your own unless you really want an extra floor or table fan!

And as for the mattress... yes, you will need your own mattress for the cot in your room. This can be bought from the institute's general store for a subsidised price.
