As a professional from a non-technical background, how and where can I access introductory courses/programs to gain foundational knowledge in AI?

IITM offers various courses for working professionals, ranging from post graduate programs at IIT Madras to the online BS program. The BS degree in Data Science and Programming equips students with the necessary skillsets for taking up roles in leading technological firms. The BS program is designed to be flexible, so even if you are a working professional, the BS program will not hinder that. Please see https://study.iitm.ac.in/ds/ for more details regarding the course.  The Centre for Outreach and Digital Education (CODE) in collaboration with Wadhwani School of Data Science and AI also offers a web-enabled MTech Program in Industrial AI for professionals from the industry. Candidates have to take approved core courses in addition to elective courses, laboratory courses and projects as per the curriculum of the program concerned. They can complete the entire M.Tech program at their own pace. Along with the above initiatives by IITM, NPTEL also has courses ranging from foundations of ML to advanced concepts in NLP to kickstart your journey in AI. You can sign up for any NPTEL course, watch the lectures at your pace, attempt the assignments and then register for the exam after which you will be eligible for certification.
