For JEE Mains, the first step would be to master your 11th and 12th standard syllabus (as prescribed by NTA). Being thorough with NCERT for all three subjects, especially Chemistry, is a MUST. Along with that, solving previous year JEE Mains papers would help a lot with revision and also, developing the exam temperament, speed and accuracy needed for the final exam.
