What are the preparatory courses offered by IITs?

0 upvotes • Read Time 1 min

Preparatory courses in IITs are designed to help SC, ST, and PwD students who don't meet the JEE cutoff. These year-long courses focus on improving skills in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English, ensuring students can perform well in degree programs. Upon successful completion, students gain admission to their allotted IIT. The courses are hosted on a rotational basis by different IITs. JoSAA releases a notification on its website with a list of host IITs for every region. Students must pass the course to secure their seats.
