What can I pursue to be app developer?
To pursue a career in app development, one can opt for a major in Computer Science or Software Engineering. These majors typically cover essential topics such as programming languages, algorithms, data structures, software design, and development principles. Additionally, mobile app development, user interface design, and database management courses will provide specific skills relevant to creating and maintaining applications. Supplementing the major with practical experience through internships, projects, and participation in coding bootcamps or online courses can also be highly beneficial.That being said, many non-CSE students also pursue app development. They acquire the necessary knowledge and skills by doing electives, projects, and/or getting involved in relevant student teams.
