What criteria are used to evaluate applications for M.Tech. in IIT Madras?

0 upvotes • Read Time < 1 min

M.Tech. admission for GATE-qualified Indian national candidates (who are not required to take the Suitability Test/ Interview) is finalized strictly in the order of merit as per the GATE Score and based on their choices in the application. CGPA & Department Reviews for IIT Graduates are also conducted. All the applications submitted for M.Tech. admissions will be scrutinized for the accuracy of the data, which includes all grade card(s) to date or consolidated marksheet. If everything is found to be in order, the application will be accepted. Otherwise, defects in the application will be marked and intimated to the candidate for rectification, which needs to be carried out within a stipulated time.
