What is BTech instrumentation engineering?

IIT Madras does not offer a B.Tech. in Instrumentation Engineering, but students can take electives in the Department of Electrical Engineering, such as Measurements and Instrumentation, Power System Instrumentation, Instrumentation for Ocean Technology, and Advanced Topics in Instrumentation.The Department of Electrical Engineering offers an M.Tech. in Electronic Systems and Instrumentation.
